Hi, I'm Carol, an avid summer gardener, enthusiastic winter quilter and now website writer, wishing to share the joy of gardening for all ability levels and to hear from other gardening aficionados. Despite living in a suburb, I have a large raised bed organic vegetable garden, strawberry patch, asparagus plot, about a dozen blueberry bushes and several flower gardens. These keep me very busy and content during gardening season. I am not a professional, just someone who has been gardening since I was a little kid, when my Dad taught me and then made it part of my chores. Now as a retiree, I spend a lot of time playing in my gardens and am often "supervised" by my 14-year-old Siamese cat, Willy. When he gets bored with this, he goes off hunting and sometimes drops a mouse by my feet. I guess he's trying to feed me, but I think it's his way of saying, enough of this, it's really time to feed HIM.
Jason is the "tech man" and shipping/receiving department and pitches in to keep the gardens going. He's also a good cook, which is a good thing, especially when I forget what time it is out in the garden.
